Spring Break Safety with Green Zebra Adventures

Howdy Adventurers!

It’s SB2K11 (that’s Spring Break ’11 for all of those people who have graduated college) and we are talking about safety. At Green Zebra Adventures, we hold all of our vehicles and guides to the highest safety standards. Even in our international locations, we adhere strictly to U.S. safety regulations and even add safety features not required – like 4-point safety harnesses and reinforced roll bars. We love to adventure but believe that we should do so safely.

This time last year the Green Zebra Adventures herd went to a luncheon held by notMYkid, a national organization based in Scottsdale, Arizona, that was talking about travel safety. The luncheon hosted guest speakers from the organization as well as the FBI. The keynote speaker was none other than Beth Holloway. The mother of Natalee Holloway, lost in Aruba in 2005.

What Beth and the FBI said hit us hard and we want to share the safety message with all of our adventurers. As most of our guests travel to get to us we realize that informing them about our safety precautions was not enough. They need to know how to be safe while traveling at home and abroad.

The safety tips compiled by notMYkid and the FBI were printed onto a postcard that could be sent to anyone traveling. The Dean of University of Colorado at Boulder saw it and decided to send it to the entire campus both in 2010 and 2011.

We have teamed up with notMYkid to bring you this message because we believe that getting to us safely plays a big part in your whole experience. You can CLICK HERE to download the postcard to both print and mail or email to your loved ones traveling in the near future.

That’s all for now, adventures!

Happy trails and have a safe and FUN SB2K11!!!
